The three directors of Trevor Jones & Co have a combined 70 years accountancy experience and are supported by an excellent team, many of whom have in excess of 20 years’ experience working in business, payroll and accountancy professions.
All of our managers have been qualified for a number of years and are members of their relevant institutes such as ICAEW, ACCA, AAT and CiPP. All of our staff maintain their knowledge and skills by regularly undertaking continuous professional development courses to ensure that the best possible advice can be given.
Adrian McKeown FCA - Director
I was educated at Handsworth Grammar School and then studied accountancy at Birmingham Polytechnic. After which I joined Trevor Jones & Co where I studied to become a chartered accountant. After successfully passing the Institute exams I, together with my current business partners, bought the firm off the two previous owners. I'm very passionate about providing client’s with accurate advice and solutions. I have a keen interest in sport both participating and watching.
Yiannis Hadjimarcou FCA - Director
I obtained a degree in Economics from Nottingham University then joined the practice in 1994 where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant. I am a general practitioner and deal with clients of all sizes and in particular clients in the retail sector. My interests outside of work include watching football and going to the gym.
Stephen Lewis FCA – Director
I graduated with a degree in biomedical sciences and joined Trevor Jones as a trainee in 1991. I became a partner in 2008. I pride myself on providing a hands on, friendly approach to the many owner managed business that are under my supervision. I’m also able to put my auditors hat on for the larger jobs. My spare time is spent watching football, running or riding my bike, in between providing chauffeur services for my three children.
Beth Lilley ACA – Accounts & Audit Manager
I studied Accounting and Finance at Birmingham University before joining Trevor Jones to train as a Chartered Accountant. I have now been with the practice since 2006 and specialise in audit department, but also work on SME limited company accounts. I am committed to providing clients with both a professional and friendly service. When I’m not working I also take an active role in a number of community groups as well as enjoying my weekly Zumba.
Lisa Tooley ACCA – Accounts & Audit Manager
After leaving school I started studying AAT before progressing to ACCA. I have been working at Trevor Jones since completing my ACCA qualification in 2011. I have many years’ experience in accounts preparation, management figure preparation and audit of financial statements. In my spare time I go to the gym and I also enjoy travelling.
Lisa Young – Accounts Manager
I joined Trevor Jones & Co in 1986 and completed a qualification in business studies and accounts. I have many years’ experience in the preparation of management figures and accounts. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and enjoy travelling.
Mukund Rajpara – Tax Manager
After leaving school I joined HMRC and worked there for 14 years as a tax officer. I then started working at Trevor Jones & Co in 1989 as a tax manager. I have many years' experience assisting sole traders and partnerships with accounts and tax matters. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy travelling.
Helen Connell MCIPPdip – Payroll Manager
Having started my working career in a Payroll Bureau, after a few years I moved to a FTSE 250 company as a Payroll Administrator and swiftly moved through the ranks to be appointed Payroll Manager. I studied for the Diploma in Payroll Management and successfully achieved the qualification in 1998. Following a short career break I joined Trevor Jones & Co in June 2006 on a part time basis. Since joining, the payroll department has significantly increased in size and so have my working hours. My time outside of work is spent with my family and I especially enjoy watching my two sons play football.
Shamshed Miah – Accounts Senior
I have been working in accounts since 2008 and have many years’ experience in accounts, tax preparation. I am currently studying for my ACCA. I’m a big fan of superman and his ideals and I have watched every comic book movie in the MCU & DCEU.
Kerri Young AAT – Accountant
After completing a degree in Forensic Science, I found that this wasn’t the career path for me. Starting at Trevor Jones in 2013 was the best change in career I could have made. I completed my level 4 AAT in January 2017. I have been social Ballroom and Latin dancing since I was 13 years old and continue to do so while helping teach at a local dance school.
Harry Jordanou BA (Hons) – Accounts Assistant
I studied accounting and finance at John Moores University Liverpool and graduated in 2011 with a 2.1. I have been at Trevor Jones & Co since 2016 and am thoroughly relishing the challenges that are being thrown my way. I am currently studying towards the ACA qualification to become a Chartered Accountant. I have Greek-Cypriot heritage of which I am very proud and actively engage in the local community of Birmingham. I am an avid supporter of Liverpool FC.
Panayiotis Hadjimarcou – Accounts Junior
I studied my A Levels at Barr Beacon School, I studied Greek, Accounts and Business and I completed them in 2017. I started working at Trevor Jones & Co in 2017 and I have just started my AAT Level 3. I enjoy playing and watching football and I have supported Aston Villa since I was a young child.
Tracy May Brown – Admin Assistant
I have been with Trevor Jones & Co since 1993 as receptionist/admin assistant, a role that offers variety, which I find very enjoyable. Being a receptionist, I aim to welcome all clients/professionals with a warm and friendly approach. My normal working days are Mon-Wed. I class myself as a friendly and outgoing person. My interests outside work are socialising with friends and family, dancing, swimming and watching TV. I also work as concierge in a residential care home (bank position covering for sickness/holiday) as and when needed, which is certainly different from my permanent job here.
Lezane Riley – Admin Assistant and Payroll Administrator
I joined Trevor Jones & Co as Receptionist/Admin Assistant in April 2013 having a background in secretarial/PA roles. My normal working days on Reception are Thursday and Friday. I also work in the Payroll Department each Tuesday having responsibility for the monthly payroll clients and
helping with any required admin tasks. Outside work I like to spend time with my family enjoying outdoor activities and watching my son play in his football team on Sunday afternoons.
